Mukolo Photo Tours photography boat on the Kwando River

"The Kwando River is a Wildlife Photographer's playground"

Mukolo Photo Tours is situated on the Kwando River floodplain, directly opposite the Bwabwata National Park, and upstream from the Mudumu National Park.

These National Parks, including the Kwando River floodplain, support large numbers of Wildlife and act as a corridor for the movement of Wildlife between Angola, Botswana and Namibia.

At certain times of the year, one can find herds of elephant and plains game along the Bwabwata shoreline of the Kwando River.

With over 450 bird species, the Kwando River and Caprivi Zambezi region, is regarded as one of the best birding hotspots in Namibia and Southern Africa.

Note: As the river enters Namibia from Angola, the name changes from Cuando to Kwando
